Want to know more about me?
I have been often been described as playful, inspiring, fun, wise, caring, enthusiastic, powerful, calm, kind, creative, safe, and very easy to get along with.
As a sensitive child, I suffered from anxiety and depression, and "smallness". As I aged, I had health issues related to high levels of stress, high anxiety and alcohol damage to my stomach. I coped with alcohol, staying busy, and caring for others others before my own needs. Then in 2004, my world turned upside down by life circumstances but, thankfully, I learned to meditate that year. That's when the accumulated stress I had built up began to unwind and dissolve. This started me on a path of MORE - not more stuff to buy or do, but more freedom, ease and connection to my highest self.
Always loving the role of research, I pursued this new world of inner healing and started walking the path of self-mastery. I have completed many trainings and certifications and, although I am still a continuous learner still, I can hold space for teaching others to thrive and be happy beyond what they could ever imagine.
You will find me chatting, singing and playing with people (especially kids, babies and elderly), or honouring, chanting and playing with nature.
I identify as female and go by she/her pronouns. I honour and respect my trans heart-family and vow to create safe space for them. I also have trained in First Nations Cultural Safety to be able to better support and honour my indigenous sisters and brothers.
I work at the Paradise Valley Healing Center (formally known as Chopra Addictions and Wellness Center) in Squamish as a teacher of Ayurveda, Meditation and Yoga. Most of the guests that I support there have PTSD or other trauma-related wounds. I love empowering, inspiring and guiding them to use simple, natural techniques for their healing.
I have facilitated many workshops and trainings for a variety of industries and organizations.
My main work is as a meditation teacher and coach and I love it.
