What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese form of stress reduction. Dr. Usui was a Buddist monk who was founder of the reiki movement in 1922. It means Universal Life Energy.
Rei: means universal, higher knowledge or spiritual consciousness which is all knowing.
Ki: means life energy, circulating all living things. Ki is the primary energy of our emotions, thoughts and spiritual life.
Extremely subtle and non-invasive, reiki is perfect for all people in every phase of life. Reiki benefits your mind, emotions, body, and spirit. The universal life energy a most calming technique which allows people to surrender in the flow of their life releasing things that no longer serve them and bringing the healing for exactly what a person needs for their highest good.

Scientific Studies note that:
•Brainwave patterns of the practitioner and the client synchronize in the alpha state (start of meditation)
•They pulse in unison with the earths magnetic field (Schuman Resonance), linking the practitioner to the infinite energy source
•The biomagnetic field of the practitioner increases 1000 times than normal
•Pulses in practitioners hand are the same frequencies as brainwaves that range from 0.3 to 30 Hz, mostly from the 7-8 Hz range. (Hz measure electrical brainwave 1 unit = one cycle)
•This frequency range stimulates healing (physiotherapy equipment is based on these frequencies, and as discovered by various studies at the following levels:

Shamanic Energy Healing
Through the teachings of the Shamanic Yoga Institute, I can completed several Master level trainings. A lot of the energy healing knowledge comes from traditional indigenous spiritual training from the ancient peoples in Peru, the Q'uero shaman. I am currently completing my 3rd time around The Medicine Wheel. Each time around I remove and heal my wound layers so I can be a better conduit for your support and care.
